WHAT IS YOUR RPM?...

The RPM (Racing Performance Measure) is the measuring stick to decide the success of each driver. Several factors are involved to reach the RPM. Our goal is to make it as equal as we possibly can for all drivers. The following categories will determine the RPM for each driver: Amount of karts in class average Average Finish Amount of races run versus total races (%) Amount of karts finished ahead of The sum of the above 4 categories will be divided by the # of categories included in the equation. Click here for an RPM example calculation. There are four (4) steps by which to calculate points for each driver at each event. The goal is to award drivers based on performance and karts competing in each category. Step 1 - Amount of karts in class average No Show = 0 Points 1 kart = 1 point 2 karts = 2 points 3 karts = 3 points 4 karts = 4 points 5 karts = 5 points 6 karts = 6 points 7 karts = 7 points 8 karts = 8 points 9 karts = 9 points 10 or more karts = 10 points Step 2 - Finishing Position No Show = 0 Points 1st place = 10 points 2nd place = 9 points 3rd place = 8 points 4th place = 7 points 5th place = 6 points 6th place = 5 points 7th place = 4points 8th place = 3 points 9th place = 2 points 10th or back = 1 point Step 3 - Attendance Bonus • If a driver registers for an event, he or she will receive 10 points for this category for the event. • If a driver does not register, he or she will receive 0 points for this category for the event.
